On May 3 and 4, Two- Days Workshop On Uses Descriptive Statistics in Data Analysis of Social Sciences at the “Indian Research Scholars Association” at 5:00 pm on the topic “Use of Descriptive Statistics in Data Analysis of Social Science Research”. This is an association in which research scholars related to social sciences, literature, language, and arts from all over India are present. The objective of this association is to exchange creative, innovative development and progressive dialogue with research institutes researching literature, arts, social sciences and humanities subjects of all universities and colleges of India. This platform welcomes all those research scholars of India who are active in research work. Dr. Ghanshyam Sahu, Assistant Professor of Educational Studies at Teacher Education College, Bhawanipatna, Kalahandi, and Odisha, was present as the chief guest in this program. He said that descriptive statistics is used to describe the basic characteristics of data in a study. And the second speaker Dr. Jyotika Sharma, Assistant Professor, Coordinator Behavior Management, Psychology, NEP & QA, Sikkim University Gangtok, said that descriptive statistics describe and summarize the collected data.
